PLMA’s Private Label Day 2014 Successfully Ended.

With the Participation of more than 110 attendees, Private Label Day has concluded its 6th edition of annual seminar.Private Label Day is PLMA’s annual Korean event to provide information on trends, current issues of importance on private label industry and business opportunities to retailers and manufacturers.

The seminar topic for this year was ” Food and Drink Private Label”.Tom Stephens, CEO of Brand Strategy Consultants Inc. delivered insight on Global Private Label Food & Drink Trend, and Opportunities and Challenges on Private Label Global Food Market. Young Choi, CEO of TO-ME KOREA Inc. made a speech on Private Label Business Practice for Suppliers & Retailers. And Cheyoon Jung, Freelance Market Insight Analist of Mintel Group introduced case stuides on Waitrose.

The seminar also had a introduction session for PLMA trade shows held in Amsterdam, Chicago, and Shanghai  and local governments and trade associations showed interests in organizing pavilions at the trade shows to help companies wanting to enter global retail markets.
